Validation and
Application to nonsmooth problems of relevance in
Engineering.
The numerical software will be validated by using it to
simulate and test both open-loop
and closed-loop complementarity models of three classes
of systems relevant in Engineering:
power converters, walking robots and automotive systems.
This stage will have a two-fold purpose:
- testing the software on a set of test-bed
problems
- using the tool to design novel control strategies
for the nonsmooth problems of interest
- validating the software tool through comparison
of the numerical results with experimental
ones on the three problems of interest: power
converters, walking robots and automotive
systems.
