This is the fifth and last general meeting of EU Project SICONOS (Simulation and Control of NonSmooth Systems). The meeting will start at 9.30am on Thursday 14th September 2006 and will end on Friday 15th September 2006 at 18.00.It will be held at the International centre for Scientific Culture of the University of Naples "Federico II" on the island of Capri. =

INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON NONLINEAR DYNAMICS AND COMPLEXITY IN INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY
Bologna, Italy 6-8 September 2004
An international workshop sponsored by the Italian
Society for Chaos and Complexity (SICC) and the IEEE Circuits and Systems
Society will take place in Bologna from 6th to the 8th September 2004.
The Workshop aims at reviewing the fundamentals and outlining the research
perspectives on the use of nonlinear models with complex dynamics in various
areas of ICT such as Power Electronics and Switching Systems,
Communication Networks and Coding.
Ph.D. students and young researchers from all branches of ICT are encouraged
to participate, as well as to submit their work for poster presentation. This
will give them the chance of discussing their research with colleagues and
outstanding scientists in the field.
